CLASS DESCRIPTION: Our IDFPR-Licensed Armed Security Course adds to the Unarmed Security Course and equips you for a career as an armed security officer. They get paid more. Through interactive exercises and practical scenarios, we will develop your critical thinking skills and ability to approach and handle risks peacefully, ensuring you are ready for employment in the security sector. 
 
Our goal is to help you minimize unnecessary conflicts and effectively deter crime. The course tuition covers all necessary materials, including handouts, BOTH revolver and semi-automatic firearm training, as well as ear and eye protection, ammunition, and targets for shooting practice. This IDFPR-Licensed course is affordable, making it an opportunity not to be overlooked. Bring a sense of humor and understanding with ya...and leave your feelings at home! RANGE LOCATION: Unless specifically stated directly from Security Training Concepts, range will be held at Eagle Sports Range - 5900 W. 159th St, Oak Forest, IL 
 
After completion of the training, we submit the completed Certification of Completion of Firearm Training directly to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). Upon approval, IDFPR will notify you within 6-8 weeks that the Department has issued you a Certification of Firearms Training (230 License) via email.
